A Century of Great Football Moments: Fans Vote for the Top 100 of All Time

The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee has named the 250 greatest moments in the history of football in North Texas.   At a star-studded ceremony at Dallas’ Woodrow Wilson High School, the list of 250 was unveiled under the moniker “A Century in the Making”.  The list was compiled by the ‘Century in the Making Action Team’, a blue-ribbon panel of local sports broadcasters and reporters. 

Throughout 2010, fans from across North Texas (and the world, via the internet) will be given the opportunity to vote for the region’s Top 100 moments from the original list of 250.  Professional, college and high school moments are all included.  Voting officially began on January 18th at the Ft Worth Stock Show and Rodeo through paper ballots available through the Ft Worth Star Telegram. 

Beginning in March, fans can go online to vote at the site www.centuryinthemaking.com which will be sponsored by American Airlines.  Fans who vote online will be eligible for travel prizes from American Airlines.
